Paul Godin
Paul Godin is an Investigator with the ADR Chambers Banking
Ombuds Office and the Director of U.S. Operations for ADR
Chambers. He is also a lawyer, mediator, arbitrator,
trainer, and designer of alternative dispute resolution
systems, and has taught dispute resolution principles to a
number of major banks worldwide.
Paul has provided dispute resolution assistance through
training, consultation, and system design to a number of
ombuds agencies and ombudspersons, including the Ontario
Ombudsman and the Ethiopian Office of the Ombudsman.
Paul has acted in many complex mediations and negotiations,
and as counsel has been before the Ontario Superior Court of
Justice, the Ontario Court of Appeal, and the Financial
Services Commission of Ontario. Paul is a Roster Mediator,
Ontario Mandatory Mediation Program–Toronto. He is also a
roster mediator with the Sport Dispute Resolution Centre of
Canada, and is designated as a Chartered Mediator by the ADR
Institute of Canada. He is a member of the ADR Section
Executive of the Ontario Bar Assoc., and has published a
number of papers and articles in law and dispute resolution.
