Alysia
Davies
Alysia Davies is the Deputy Ombuds at the
ADR Chambers Banking Ombuds Office. She was called to the Ontario
bar in 2005 and practiced as an administrative and regulatory lawyer
in the government sector for several years. She worked as a litigator
at the Department of Justice in Ottawa, representing the Attorney
General of Canada. She was also an analyst for the House of Commons
and Senate through the Library of Parliament.
Most recently, she was a legislative research officer for the Legislative Assembly of Ontario. She also acted as one of a team of counsel who assisted the legislature’s Standing Committee on Regulations and Private Bills with its annual review of all regulations in Ontario.
Alysia has a J.D. from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Journalism (Hons.) from Carleton University. She completed intensive ADR training with the Stitt Feld Handy Group.
